Salamanca

Salamanca is one of the most popular cities chosen by the foreign students to learn the Spanish language and culture. It´s located within the Autonomous Community of Castile-Leon, about 200km from Madrid and about 100km from Portugal.

The city was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988 and in 2002 it was the European City of Culture. As spots of interest there are its two Cathedrals, the San Esteban Church, the University, the Monterrey Palace, the Clergy or its famous Plaza Mayor.

The University of Salamanca is one of the oldest in the world (1218) and it´s a prominent student city, helping it maintain its young and dynamic atmosphere. Studying in Salamanca will be an unforgettable experience.

Dencanto Community :)
I would like to congratulate everyone that was able to make this trip happen. Although the adventure has finished, I know that it was one fo the best trips of my life. Thank you once again!
The people that attended me before I left did so with punctuality and with detail and attended my every question.
The entire trip has been great, interesting, and useful for the mind and heart.
My kids really enjoyed the course in Barcelona. They´ve made new friends and they would have liked to stay longer...Thanks to all the staff at Dencanto Community, we felt safe, helped with everything and we knew we could always count on them.
