The Intensive Spanish Course + Spanish Cooking at the Montalban School in Granada is specifically designed to learn about the Andalusian flavour through its cuisine.
The course lasts 1 - 50 weeks and has 2 sessions of 90 minutes per week as a complement to a general Spanish course.
The groups for this course at Escuela Montalban are made up of 1-2 people and offer this great opportunity to visit Granada, the last Muslim kingdom in Spain, and learn about the Moorish legacy that still remains in the excellent gastronomy of this wonderful region in the east of Andalusia.
Spanish cuisine owes much of its richness to the Arab people. It is true that many achievements were lost with the Catholic reconquest, however, the art of sweet-making remains.
Depending on the number of students, the language level or the time of year, the school may be obliged to substitute the course group for a mini-group or private course with fewer lessons. These modifications do not imply any change in the price.
The school will be closed and there will be no lessons during (public) holidays. Lessons missed during these holidays cannot be made up or refunded.
Holidays: 28/02, 29/03, 1/05, 30/05, 15/08, 1/11, 6 /12, last course day: 20/12/2024 and new courses from 07.01.2025.
<p>Wooden tables, wooden seats and plastic seats. The classroom has a blackboard, television and playback equipment. Heating and fans are also available.</p>
All learning materials are included: digital coursebook, workbook, online platform access and additional resources.
At the end of the course, you'll receive an official certificate recognised by Instituto Cervantes, showing the number of hours completed and the level achieved.
