Spanish school in Salamanca was founded in 1986. It is located in the old town, close to the Salamanca University making the area very youthful but traditional in the historical terms.

The interior of the XVI century building is completely modernised but the architects purposely left some original walls exposed so that the students can have at hand hundreds of years of the Spanish history. 

The classrooms surround the central patio where students can go out to breath some fresh air between the lessons. The school has also a café at students' disposal. Being there, you can taste some delicious local cuisine while particing your Spanish and making friends with your classmates. 

The teachers are native speakers university graduates of language related studies (hispanic, humanities, etc) and bearers of MA in ELE teaching.

    The payment of 100% of the invoice is mandatory before the arrival of the client.

    A personalized Don Quijote Certificate of attendance and completion will be issued for studies in accordance with the guidelines established by the Instituto Cervantes and the current legislation regulating non-accredited education.

    This certificate will contain the name of the course taken, course level and number of hours completed. The name of the school in which the class(es) were given, dates of enrollment and level achieved will also be included.

    The certificate of attendance and completion will only be issued to students who attend at least 85% of their classes and is not valid as an official document in accordance with the legislation regulating non-accredited education.

    Classes missed due to national or local holidays will not be made up or refunded. When more than one holiday falls in the same week (Monday – Friday), either one day of the missed classes can be made up or a 20% discount will be applied to the corresponding course week price for a 1 or 2-week program; if students prefer to receive the discount they must notify us at the time of enrollment. One-to-One classes will always be made up.

    Study Spanish at Don Quijote Salamanca

    Barely a few minutes away from Plaza Mayor, in the beating heart of the city, there is Don Quijote Salamanca school.     After your Spanish classes, you can stroll around the city and all of its interesting sites and enjoy all the things you can do in the "Ciudad Dorada" (Golden City). It's the perfect choice, especially, if you're looking for the standard version of the language as this place is widely considered as the one which uses the purest form of Spanish. 

    You will never get tired of seeing everything that Salamanca has to offer. It's famous for its historical university and it will submerge you in the youthful atmosphere full of possibilities.

    School and courses

    The Spanish school in Salamanca is located just in the centre of this historical university city: 5-10 minutes from Plaza Mayor (the main Salamanca square), Museum of Salamanca, the Old Cathedral, the New Cathedral and San Esteban Convent.
    The courses are being offered during all year long and most of them start any Monday, no matter the level. Some special courses begin the first Monday of the month. Exam preparatory programmes' dates depend on the exam schedules.
    Classes cancelled due to festivities and bank holidays are not submitted to returns or rescheduling. If there is more than one day off during the week (Mon - Fri), one of the cancelled classes will be rescheduled or a 20% discount will be applied for the programmes of one or two weeks. If you wish to obtain a discount, notify us about it when booking. Private clases will be always made up for. If a holiday falls on Monday, the classes start on Tuesday.
    Your Spanish level doesn't matter as the first day of the course the school organises written and oral level test. Depending on the results you will be assigned to the correct group.
    Every class lasts 55 minutes. The number of classes depends on your choice. After the course you will have time to explore the city and pratice your Spanish.
    Students who will participate in at least 85% of their classes will receive a personalised Enforex certificate of the assistance and end of the course. The document will consist of the name, level and hours of the completed course and achieved level. The date of the inscription and name of the school will be included as well.

    Accomodation

    If you need any special diet due to your religion, health or ethics, we can offer you adapted meals. Though, you need to specify it clearly in the booking process.
    The school offers three types of lodging: shared apartment, host family and residence hall.
    Our accommodations are located mostly in the centre of the city and are in the distance of 30 minutes away from school (on foot or by public transport).
    The accommodation is at your disposal from 12:00 on Sunday prior to the start day of the course, till 12:00 on Saturday following the last day of the classes.
    Depending on the availability, you can book extra night in your accommodation spot (max. of 3 days, paid additionally). For those who need 4 or more extra nights, the supplement of the equivalent of the whole week will be charged. If you decide on extending your stay, we would be able to offer you the same accommodation you're in as long as it's not booked by another person.
    If you book accommodation with us, before your arrival you will get all the details on where to go, how to get the keys, etc. We will also provide you with emergency number to call to in case of any problems. If you book a course without lodging, you should go directly to the school on Monday, at 8:00 to fill in a placement test.
